A perfect afternoon in the famous wine region of Medoc!
2pm Departure from Bordeaux Tourism Office. Come and admire the lowlands of the Medoc and learn about all the specificities of this wine region with your guide.
3pm First, enjoy a visit and wine tasting session at a Classified Growth or “Cru Bourgeois” Château of the Margaux appellation.
4:30pm Experience a second wine tasting session in a 1855 Classified Growth Château. The classification resulted from the 1855 Exposition Universelle de Paris, when Emperor Napoleon III requested a classification system for France's best Bordeaux wines which were to be on display for visitors from around the world.
6pm Return to Bordeaux Tourism Office.
